Adam Spencer, ABC Sydney Radio host, conducted an interview with Alex Jones this morning.
Alex was born deaf, but hasn’t let that stand in his way. He is co-founder of Access Innovation Media, also an actor, theatre director and performer and an ambassador for the International Day of People with a Disability. He is currently the Chairperson of the Deafness Forum of Australia.
It is his love of life and the ability to push through the current barriers that makes him unique and “always” the center of attention where ever he goes.
Alex sees the message of the International Day of People With a Disability as “not about us being disabled - it’s about society being disabled with us. And it’s about us coming forward and showing what we can do, not what we can’t do.”
